| i heard pulse vu takes 5.5v max and cold cathodes need 12v so the cant work together. but couldnt you take the positive wire and split it into 2 wires one wire goes to th pulse vu for 5.5v then to a 12v spot on the mobo with the proper resistor? |

| regardless the cathodes run on an inverter so all that would happen is you would damage the inverter by changing the voltage. |

| Pulse VU 2 can take 360MA and cost $20 Pulse VU 2X can take 3A and cost $22 Power extenders can add 3A to either one and cost $8 |

| I recommend the 2x, its smaller and you can hook it up to your RF board. |

| I have no experience with the pulse VU's but aparantly they just create a ground, not a source of power. Correct me if I'm wrong. |
